Sophia Guice (Community Nominee)

Nominated by Vernesha Guice – My mother is a dedicated volunteer. Last year alone she volunteered over 500 hours and was named Bank of America Volunteer of the Year as well as she received a nomination for the Global Diversity and Inclusion Award from Bank of America. Her passion for volunteering never ends she does the Susan G Komen 3 Day Breast Cancer Walk every year raising over $2500.00 each time. She is a graduate of the United Way Volunteer Involvement Program which gave her training to be a member of a board of directors for non profits. She currently is the chair for Bank of America Atlanta Market Community Volunteers where she manages 6 Focus Groups as they plan and execute volunteer opportunities for all of the associates to participate. My mom is a rock star volunteer and she always tells me since she doesn’t have the funds to give to charity she will give her time and she has been consistently giving it for over 13 years. I think my mom deserves to be recognized.
